The first visit will take place at Colerain High School on Sept. 9. Northwest High School will host the mobile clinic on Oct. 14.
Cincinnati Children’s mobile care center expands school access
Cincinnati Children’s says the program will make routine health care easier for local teenagers and young adults. The Cincinnati Children’s mobile care center will provide primary care and preventive services during scheduled school visits.
The clinic can see up to 14 patients during each visit. Appointments will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Students from either high school can receive care at either school when the mobile clinic is present. Young people ages 12 to 21 who live in the Northwest Local School District but attend other schools may also qualify.
According to Cincinnati Children’s, the service aims to reduce barriers that can make medical appointments difficult for families. Transportation, work schedules and travel distances can prevent some families from accessing routine care.
The program also builds on Cincinnati Children’s broader effort to bring medical services closer to local communities. The health system reported in June that its Mobile Care Center forms part of its efforts to expand access to care across the region.
Cincinnati Children’s already operates mobile services at several schools and community locations across Greater Cincinnati. Its current Mobile Care Center locations include West Clermont, North College Hill, Milford and other communities.

The unit is staffed by Cincinnati Children’s physicians, nurse practitioners and medical assistants. Cincinnati Children’s says the Mobile Care Center has recorded more than 4,500 patient encounters since launching in 2019.

Cincinnati Children’s also operates a Mobile Care Center at North College Hill High School. The North College Hill school district says the unit provides services on the second Wednesday of each month.
The health system’s June 2026 Community Impact Report also highlighted school-based and mobile care as part of its regional access strategy. Cincinnati Children’s reported nearly $594 million in community benefit services and more than 1.75 million patient encounters in the report.
For Northwest Local School District families, the new program brings another option for routine adolescent care. Students can receive several services at a high school rather than traveling to a hospital or separate medical office.
The program will begin at Colerain High School on Sept. 9 before moving to Northwest High School the following month.
The health system said more days and services could be considered if the program sees enough demand.
