Park safety improvements set to begin at Cincinnati parks after council funding approval

Council Member Anna Albi previously said the city should not wait for another tragedy before evaluating safety conditions in parks. She noted that residents in several neighborhoods had consistently raised concerns about visibility and security in recreation areas. 

Initial work is expected to focus on parks and playgrounds that have experienced shootings or are located in neighborhoods with elevated levels of gun violence.
