State Sen. Bill DeMora and state Rep. Eric Synenberg announced the legislation Oct. 7 as communities across Ohio continue developing their own rules for e-bikes and e-scooters.
The proposal comes as local governments, including communities in Greater Cincinnati, consider restrictions involving speed, rider age and where electric bikes can be used.
