Authorities identified the victim as William Evans, a 7-year-old boy who lived in an apartment on Madison Road in Oakley.
Prosecutors charged his mother, Kaitlin Evans, 38, along with Nessa Keaney, 23, and Kirby Rankin, 33. All three women entered not guilty pleas during their arraignments before Judge Rodney Harris.
